Salem 15

Salem 15

My good friend, Erin, and I drove down over to Salem in October (mind you these sets are from 2015...I can safely say I'm a slacker.) When we first got to Salem, MA, we walked into this empty, creepy laundry mat. From there the spooks started one by one. We went to Count Orlok's Nightmare Gallery, walked around by the grave yard, shopped around trinkets and things, looked around for the little witch statue, and then ended up getting lost around a creepy forest close by.

(Editor's note: Sorry for this overdue post. I'm working on it...)

Summer Is Gone

A little late, but better late than never! These were taken September 21, 2015. My friend, Erin, showed me a secret field she had found earlier in the year. We took our cameras and prepared ourselves for a majestic sunset in a wide-open field. It was on the edge of summer ending and autumn rolling in. A few flowers were on their way out, while others made it until it started getting chilly out. Next time, we just need to remember to bring a picnic basket filled with snacks.

Priscilla and I made a last minute trip to Nantucket Beach.  It was my first time driving there and our first legit beach trip all summer. We managed to find cheap parking, catch some rays, dip our feet in the cold New England ocean, and find chocolate soft swerve with a cherry hard shell. We came across many bird friends (whom we shared most of our sandwiches with) and a cute little arcade (that sold inflatable aliens). Just your typical summer day at the beach.

The day just kept going with unplanned events. Lesley was open and so was the ceramics class. So we spun clay, cleaned up, and enjoyed the silence of an empty classroom. We explored the building some more, until we decided to travel to H-Mart. The most kawaii asian supermarket you'll go to in your life (lie). That was our adventure we've been hoping to go on all summer. Yeah, our feet hurt, but what a day. A day filled with spontaneous experiences.
